Hello everyone!

Christmas is over and I am back to review more products. Today I want to talk about a toner which I ordered from Beautytap (formerly W2Beauty) in October. It was the first time I heard about this brand. I was curious and started to find out more.

The history of Swanicoco is very interesting. A woman called Sung Chun-Sun (now representative of Swanicoco) started making natural and handmade soaps for her family in 2003. Then she moved on making toners, essences and lotions which she shared with neighbours. The popularity of her products increased and she opened a small shop in 2004.

Products from Swanicoco are free of harmful ingredients such as as dyes, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, steroids, alcohol, mineral oil, parabens and benzophenones. They use only natural and fermented extracts.

If you want to know more about this brand, check out these websites: Swanicoco website Swanicoco tradekorea

Packaging & Texture:

The Bitamin C Calm Down Skintoner comes in a white plastic bottle with a pump. The packaging is simple and looks like a product from the pharmacy. It contains 120ml and thanks to the pump it is very hygienic and easy to use.

The texture is thicker than water and it reminds me of the Supple Preparation Facial Toner from Klairs. It has a quite strong floral scent and it reminds me of peony and roses. The good thing is that the smell fades after applying the toner on the face so it isn't bothering. When I used it for the first time I was so sure that it contains fragrance but it doesn't. The smell comes from the natural and fermented ingredients.

My experience with this toner is that it smoothes and moisturizes my skin. It doesn't feel sticky and also calms down my skin. I didn't break out from this product and I used it in my AM and PM routine. My skin absorbed the toner quickly.

I want to mention that the toner is wrapped in a small paper box. The outside and inside are full of information about ingredients and the company. It is very informative and I have never seen such a packaging before.

My opinion: I'm deeply impressed about its performance. It is a great toner that helped me a lot to improve my skin texture. Before I used it I had red spots and pimples all over my cheeks. Most of the small ones are gone and the red spots faded. I love its thicker texture and the moisture. It helped my damaged skin to recover and calm down. I ran out of this toner a few days ago after using it for 6 weeks. As mentioned before I used it in my AM and PM routine, so twice a day. I highly recommend this product for people with combination, dry and sensitive skin! It doesn't irritate and leaves the skin refreshed and with a healthy look. It is my favourite toner and I will repurchase it soon. ♥
